Padded Panties

That's right, I said it, padded panties! We've all been there, mama or not, you sneeze or cough and suddenly, you just peed yourself. After I had the twins, this happened more frequently. I mean, standing at the stove, with zero sensation that I needed to pee and it jus

t happens. One day, I was on social media and this company Knix comes across my feed. Knix is a company out of Canada that created padded panties, mostly for periods, but also for bladder leaks and sweat. Because I am super cool and I don't really delete things, I just looked and I placed my first order on January 29th, 2021. I won't lie, when I first went to their page, I had a little bit of sticker shock. They did and still do offer 10% off of your first order which helps. Since I have purchased before, on occasion they will send a refer a friend code or give $15, get $15 type discount. Maybe one day I'll be cool enough to have Knix make a special discount code for me to share. Something like, "likeactually25." Anyway, my first purchase. When I finally decided to bite the bullet and try these panties, I was a stay at home mom with three kids at home, insert mom guilt for spending money on myself. After I got the ok from my husband, I just ordered one pair. Yes, they offer discounts if you buy a certain number of pairs, but what if they sucked? As you can imagine, they don't offer returns. When they finally got delivered, I couldn't wait to try them on! I rip the package open and I think great, they're "that material." In 2021, I wasn't exactly at my ideal weight. They were that no show material that made me feel like I was putting a rubber band around a marshmallow, if you know, you know. But, the money was spent and there was no turning back now. The padded part wasn't bulky or diaper like at all, I was worried they would be like a washable depends. They were tight around my hips, giving me that all wonderful rubber band feeling. I was super bummed. I sent an email to them with a plea for help. The wonderful woman that responded apologized and encouraged me to just wear them for a day, wash them and try them again. Ok Linda, what's that going to do, make them tighter? Fine, I'll humor you and myself. I didn't leave the house that day and threw them in the wash later that night. After cleaning them per the cleaning instructions, I put them back on. Holy shit, Linda was right! I fell in love with them! Like shout from the roof tops, fell in love with them. After talking to Brandon about them more, when the budget allowed, I purchased three more pairs! Now, I couldn't ever bring myself to wear them for a period, I didn't really have a period due to some medical issue, another blog another day, I wanted to wear them everyday. As they promised, they absorb both pee and sweat without leaving you stuck with the odor of pee and sweat in your panties. No more running to the bedroom to throw on another pair of panties because you sneezed and you know you'll have to change yourself at least once more that day. Over the last four years, I have accumulated a drawer full in a variety of cuts, sizes and absorbency levels. Any woman I cross paths with that will listen to my love for theses panties, I tell her about them! My sister in law even calls me PPK, for padded panties Kelly. I love it and wear it with a badge of honor because I know that I can pee my pants and no one knows it!! Knix now offers a much wider variety of cuts, materials, no padding, all the padding, bras, maternity, a teen line. They know what they're doing, they know they're good at it and they know what women want and need. Because of my love for these panties, I just had to make Knix my first love it or leave blog post. Trust me ladies, you will love them! Buy your true size, get three or five pairs and never look back! I have added a link below for you to run over and check them out :) Don't forget to sign up and get the 10% off code! Until next time mamas, keep killing it!
